If you can’t sew or sing, maybe it’s time to learn

Two programs offered to youth and adults in August at the Campbell River Community Centre

Who wants to learn to sew and sing?

Parks and Rec is offering two more Learn to Sew summer programs for youth ages nine years and up running Aug. 8-10 at the Community Centre. The cost is $46.

Instruction, sewing machines and sewing notions will be provided. A handout is available upon registration that outlines items the student may need to purchase including the fabric, pattern, thread and elastic or zipper.

For tot and pre-schoolers ages one through five years, the department is once again offering Musical Moments Aug. 7-10. Children and adults will participate in singing, movement and music making with rhythm instruments for an interactive adventure.
