Langley opera singer Katie Miller returned from Waterloo, Ont. earlier this month with a Canadian championship.
The 22-year-old UBC opera student took top spot in the voice portion of the Kiwanis Club’s national competition, which ran from Aug. 6 to 11.
In June, The Times shared Miller’s story as she prepared to compete for the national title in classical voice.
