Even with two new members having joined the team recently the Kitimat Cadets won ninth place at the 2019 Provincial Marksmanship Competition held in Vernon from April 13 to 15.
Competing against teams from across the province, the members all shot personal bests, with Victoria Hart-Tillotson finishing nationally as a junior competitor (under 15).
In addition to finishing ninth the team won the zones competition, winning against Terrace Air Cadets by six points.
