Klick to open for country legend

West Kelowna’s Ben Klick has been announced as the opening act for country star Tanya Tucker

West Kelowna country musician and former Our Kids Have Talent contestant Ben Klick has been announced as the opening act for country star Tanya Tucker when she plays the Kelowna Community Theatre March 23.

Klick, who has played Vernon on numerous occasions, has seen much success combining his traditional sounds with a modern country twist. He has been capturing audiences’ attention with his affectionate and fun-loving songwriting, storytelling, and excellent picking skills.

Klick (www.benklick.com) is a first-round 2017 Juno Award nominee, who won his first British Columbia Country Music Association (BCCMA) Award in 2016, alongside five North American Country Music Association International (NACMAI) Awards in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.

His tracks Butterfly Tattoo, Off Road, Cliché Country Boy, Love Comes and Goes, Daydreaming and Today give ample proof this breakthrough artist is headed straight for the top.
