The Langley Community Chorus will sing some of their favourite songs from the past 25 years in two special holiday concerts.
Their Silver Jubilee performances, which also celebrate the choir’s 25th anniversary, will take place Nov. 25 at 3 p.m. at the Willoughby Christian Reformed Church (20525 72 Ave.), and Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. at the United Churches of Langley (21562 Old Yale Rd.).
The choir began in 1992 with 45 members and today has grown to 80 singers. Both their Christmas and spring concerts will be titled Silver Jubilee in that honour.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $10 for students and free for children under 12. Purchase from Chorus members, Long and McQuade at 6339 200 St. or online at www.brownpapertickets.com.
As part of the anniversary celebration, the group will draw for a door prize at each of the concerts.
