Brush script artist extraordinaire, Amanda Arneill, will be bringing her talents to Chilliwack in October.
The Chilliwack Community Arts Council is hosting a special workshop with the guest instructor on Saturday, Oct. 1.
Tailored to beginners or those looking to brush up on their hand-lettering skills, this three-hour workshop will cover print and script letterforms to take any project from mediocre to show-stopping.
With a complete course handout, small group instruction and all of Arneill’s tips, tricks, and secrets to brush scripting success, there is no better time to learn to letter.
Her work has been featured on Silhouette America, pen packaging for Tombow USA, and Alexis Mattox Designs’ cake toppers and is showcased prominently on Instagram. Arneill is currently creating designs for Hobby Lobby and a book to be released in November 2016.
With more than 1,000 ecstatic students now filling the world with her lettering, Amanda specializes in teaching others this beautiful art form through in-person teaching engagements as well as online courses offered through her website amandaarneill.com.
This $85 brush script workshop takes place Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chilliwack Community Arts Council’s workshop space (20-5725 Vedder Rd.)
It includes all materials and a personal Tombow Fudenosuke pen to take home and enjoy with future lettering projects.
