Beloved children’s entertainer, Fred Penner brings his family friendly show to the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre on Friday, Oct. 28, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The program will include classic hits about cats that came back, songs about sandwiches and many more timeless melodies. A multiple Juno-award winner and internationally celebrated as the host of CBC’s Fred Penner’s Place, this music master eloquently shares his experiences and insights through stories and songs.
A gentle giant with kind eyes, Penner delivers a simple, yet powerful message “Never underestimate your ability to make a difference in the life of a child.”
His show is more than just fun; he has an undeniable ability to make you feel good about yourself, and for kids and adults alike, this performance will leave you with a happy heart and skip in your step.
A recipient of the Order of Canada, Penner has also received four Parents’ Choice Awards, and had been honoured by the Canadian Institute of Child Health for his contributions to the safety and well being of children.
The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) have named Penner the most performed children’s entertainer three times.
He’s ready to party with your family so why not take advantage of the show being so close to Halloween and bring the kids in costume?
Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children, with a family pack (two adults and two children) available for $65. Call the Cowichan Ticket Centre at 250-748-7529 or go online to cowichanpac.ca to reserve for this event.
