The Duncan Showroom is pressing on with limited seating live performances at their venue on Station Street even as the COVID-19 pandemic wears on.
The lights are up in the Showroom in November with shows scheduled for most nights of the week.
Coming up in the first part of the month is open mic night on Tuesday, Nov. 10 starting at 7:30 p.m. at a cost of $5 for everyone. Eugene Smith with his Tellin’ Stories and Tunage will be a regular on Tuesday nights throughout the month with stories and songs.
On Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. it’s Guys Who Write Songs, an evening with songwriters, and on Friday, Nov. 13 it’s Spinnin’ Vinyl with Board Games for a $5 donation.
On Saturday Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. 24 in the Valley with Schaps hits the stage. Schaps is described as an elder of the local hip hop scene and he will also feature up and coming Island rappers. The audience is limited to 20 people and this event will be broadcast online. Admission is $20.
On Sunday, Nov. 15 at 4 p.m. get ready for James Hamilton and his sitar. This show will be available in person and online. Donations are greatfully accepted.
