Four local dancers have been chosen to appear in the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker this December.
Keira Chu, Blayne Appostolopoulos, Alika Verma and Momona Tamada all dance out of Creative Edge School of Arts in Abbotsford, and are excited to be a part of this professional production.
Chu, Appostolopoulos, and Verma will appear as polar bears. Tamada will playe Clara’s brother Fritz, a featured role.
The Nutcracker runs at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver from Dec. 8 to 11.
