Freshman’s Wharf, a 10-episode online series produced through the writing department at the University of Victoria won best web series.

Irene Green and Hilary Pryor, writers for May Street Productions’ Tiga Talk, took top honours for screenwriting in the youth or children’s program or series category for “Keep Smiling.”

The awards gala took place Saturday at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. A complete list of winners can be found at www.leoawards.com.
