The final night for Performances in the Park this Thursday evening features some of the best young performers from Williams Lake, says event organizer Angela Sommer.
“Oren Barter and Robyn Ferguson and guests are returning to the stage once again and are sure to entertain,” Sommer says.
Sam Tudor will be one of their guests. A songwriter originally from Gavin Lake, Tudor has spent the last two years playing his vaunted folk songs in Vancouver.
After a year in Vancouver that was both performance intensive and full of genre bending musical projects, Sommer says Sam is back at home, playing songs from his new album.
Cody’s Bannock, Smashin’ Smoothies, M&M meats and Taylor Made Cakes will be on hand with snacks for everyone during the performances.
Arty the Art Walker will be on site as part of the 2014 Art Walk and Sale.
There will also be a display for the Sam Ketcham Pool renovations this evening.
Kids’ Corner is once again sponsored by the Community Arts Council of Williams Lake and manned by Laura Paterson.
