There are lots of laughs but with enough heart to bring a tear to your eye as Theatre in the Country presents Neil Simon’s I Ought to Be in Pictures.
The play tells the story of Herb Tucker who left his family in New York when he went to Hollywood to pursue his dream of being a renowned screenwriter. Now his daughter, Libby, who he hasn’t seen for 15 years, shows up at his doorstep and demands he help her become a star.
This production features Mission actor Lawrence Lock, along with Julia Ulrich and Brittany Grant. The show opened August 20 and runs only until Aug. 29.
