This Sunday marks the first time that Lazy Mike and the Rockin’ Recliners will bring their brand of blues originals and covers to Lorenzo’s Café.
Lazy Mike and the Rockin’ Recliners have been rocking Vancouver Island since 2007 with appearances at many blues festivals including the Vancouver Island Blues Bash in Victoria and Summertime Blues in Nanaimo. Between all of their live performances, the band has recorded four CDs that have received airplay at radio stations all over North America and in Belgium.
Lazy Mike and the Rockin’ Recliners are “Lazy” Mike Mallon on vocals and harmonica, Carson “McKinley Slim” Mallon on guitar and vocals, Brian Whitty on bass and vocals, and Evan Matthiesen on drums and vocals.
If you like your blues with a rockin’ flavour, dust off your dancing shoes and head to Lorenzo’s on Sunday night.
