Madflower rooted in ’60s and ’70s rock ‘n’ roll

Next Envision Financial Concert show will be Aug. 9

Madflower pumps up the volume of the Envision Financial Concert in the Park Series on the Kariton Art Gallery stage with blues, folk and rock ‘n’ roll.

For more than 10 years, Madflower has been spinning out its own eclectic mix of indie rock ‘n’ roll and a variety of covers. Deeply rooted in 1960s and ’70s rock ‘n’ roll, the band weaves its own magical harmony of folk, blues, and rock that will have you tapping your toes and dancing along. Formed at the Millennium by Willis Taylor and Steve Walsh, who played together with the rock band, Windowtribe, Madflower has been a staple at coffee houses and clubs all over Abbotsford and the Lower Mainland. Come and enjoy a truly dynamic time of music and meaning Aug. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m.

In addition, this is the fifth performance where concert goers are invited to take part in Envision Financial’s Full Cupboard program. Everyone is encouraged to bring cash or non-perishable food donations to support Abbotsford families in need via the local food bank.

The Kariton stage is located in Mill Lake Park at 2387 Ware St.
