Manx and Lindley team up at UVic

Harry Manx pops up in Victoria every six months to a year or so, as reliable as your favourite perennial plants. Manx is master of not only the slide guitar, but the mohan veena, a modified 20-string guitar. His music is a blend of India and Mississippi.

He brings his unique sound to town for a duo performance with fellow world music advocate and player, David Lindley, on April 12 at the University of Victoria’s Farquhar Auditorium.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show are $32.25, available from the UVic ticket box office, by calling 250-721-8480 or by visiting www.auditorium.uvic.ca.
