It’s going to get loud at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre on Monday night as Megadeth brings its Gigantour to town.

The heavy metal band has been performing for three decades and is currently in the middle of a North American tour that sees the group jump back and forth across the 49th parallel.

Easily one of the most recognized names in hard rock, Megadeth is touring with the Gigantour for the first time since 2008.

Joining them on the road are metal heavyweights Motorhead, Volbeat and Lacuna Coil.

Megadeth features singer/guitarist Dave Mustaine, bassist Dave Ellefson, guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover.

In November the group released its 13th album, appropriately titled TH1RT3EN.

Tickets are still available for the Feb. 20 show, which begins at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at abbotsfordcentre.ca, charge by phone at 1-866-977-AESC or visit the arena box office.
