Did you grow up listening to the Mini Pop Kids?
While it’s a new group of talented kids, they’re still singing hits and they’ll be making their first appearance on Canada’s West Coast with three performances during the Family Day long weekend, including a stop in Victoria on Sunday at the McPherson Playhouse.
For those who aren’t familiar with the group, Mini Pop Kids is a multi-million dollar selling and iTunes children chart topping album series from K-tel.
It was first launched in the 1980s, featuring a group of children singing pop hits of the day that went on to sell million of albums worldwide.
One of the current performers, 10-year-old Jaydn Rylee, has more than 22.5 million views on YouTube.
Some past members of Mini Pop Kids include Vivian Hicks, Ethan Young, Victoria Azevedo and Myles Erlick, who are competing on the new TV series, The Launch.
Mini Pop Kids Live is 90-minute high energy, interactive concert for all ages that’s packed with kid-friendly versions of hits from stars such as Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake and more.
Joining the Mini Pop Kids on stage is more than 40 dancers from Stages Performing Arts School and the Boston Dance Collective.
