On Saturday, April 30, let Serenata entice you into St. Andrew’s United Church (7756 Grand St., Mission) for an evening of singing that journeys from dusk to dawn.
With lullabies, runes, chants, jazz, gospel, folk songs, art songs, new music and old, the group will travel from sunset to sunrise in a concert that should be joyous, reverent, gentle, festive, serious and occasionally downright silly.
Join the group for an evening of music, surprise guests, a festive reception, and the opportunity to win gift baskets while supporting Serenata’s music and bursary fund.
Tickets range from $5 to $12 and are available from the Schuh Boutik, choir members or at the door. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and the doors will open at 7 p.m.
