Moberg back to play

lan Moberg is an award-winning West Coast singer.  Moberg is country.  He is folk. He is cowboy. He is gospel.  He is western roots. He sings of his beloved British Columbia.

His songs tell stories of trials and triumphs.   He celebrates the lives of ordinary men and women, giving them identity and dignity.  He puts smiles in peoples’ hearts and gets toes tapping. Soon we are all celebrating.

His songs reflect life on land and sea, on interior ranchlands in the Cariboo and on the coast of the Pacific, and friendship with First Peoples.

Moberg is the stuff of folklore. Born on the Sunshine Coast in Pender Harbour, he has worked both as fisherman and landscape gardener. He is adopted into the Gitskahn Killer Whale Clan of Kispiox, BC.

His original and cover tunes are receiving airplay coast to coast in Canada, and in the U.S., Ireland and Australia.

Alan Moberg was inducted into the BC Country Music Hall of  Fame in 2008. Among the various awards that he has received in his long career is an award by BMI (Socan) for “outstanding contribution to Canadian music”.

His new latest CD, Remember Me has songs of the heart, songs of the coast, songs of the country. The single, Please Remember Me was released to  commercial country radio in Canada. Request it from your favourite station or get it on iTunes.
