Delta, B.C. blues act The Mud Bay Blues Band is about to record a live album and video at the legendary Lorenzo’s Cafe in Ashton Creek.

“From the first time we laid eyes on this one-of-a-kind venue, we knew we wanted to shoot video there. And with every return trip (and there have been many), this desire intensified,” said Mud Bay bassist Mark Branscombe. “There’s something about the look and feel of this wonderful old schoolhouse in the middle of nowhere, converted into what just might be the world’s funkiest dining and dancing destination, that made us want to capture it for posterity.”

Mud Bay will be at Lorenzo’s, 901 Mabel Lake Rd., east of Enderby, Oct. 21 and 22. The band invites all to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of music history in the making.

“It’s going to be epic,” said Branscombe.
