Three new works will be added to the Emile Carr collection with an unveiling by the Festival of Murals on Aug. 20.
Unveiling of the works, which will be displayed on the rear walls of the Anthem property on Willow Street between Legion and Mill streets, will take place at noon.
But activities, including a puppet show and jazz performance will get underway at 11 a.m.
This will bring to five the number of works in the Festival’s Emily Carr collection.
FOM has also announced that the Memories of a Chinese Boy mural, at Chemainus Road and Mill Street will be restored this summer.
Vancouver artist Arthur Cheng will return to Chemainus between Aug. 17 and 23 to restore the work, which is on the wall of Wing’s Café.
