The Thursday Night Big Band will be hosting a benefit concert at the Barking Parrot Jan. 22 with proceeds going to the Stephen Lewis Foundation, which helps support struggling African grandmothers. Tickets are $10 available at the Penticton Lakeside Resort front desk, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going towards the foundation.
