Shakespeare's Will descends on Craigdarroch Castle over the holidays

A new theatre company in Victoria is launching a historical holiday production at a historical Victoria venue.

Attitude Theatre is offering Vern Thiessen’s Shakespeare’s Will, a one-woman play told from the perspective of the Bard’s wife, Anne Hathaway, for five performances Dec. 27-31 at Craigdarroch Castle.

Thiessen weaves fact and fiction into this narrative piece, injecting dramatic twists of humour and pathos through song, dance and poetic drama. Directed by Tony Cain and Michael Gosselin and starring Rosemary Jeffery, Shakespeare’s Will takes audience members into the life and times of a woman in Elizabethan England.
