A new entertainment season is set to begin at The Arts Centre and Theatre in Maple Ridge and tickets are already for sale for more than 30 presentations.
Those include a variety of music, dance and family acts for everyone to enjoy.
“We have a beautifully varied-line up of touring artists,” said Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Arts Council executive director Lindy Sisson.
“As always, I encourage our valued patrons to expand their horizons and enjoy both artists that are familiar to them, as well as try something new.”
This season includes returning ACT favourites the Dal Richards Orchestra, Winter Harp, and the Celtic Tenors.
There will also be new artists hitting the stage, including performances in world music by Alex Cuba, jazz with Laila Biali, and Jill Barber.
Sisson notes the calibre of artists on this year’s bill is an extraordinary occurrence and that there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Not only is this is a big year for performances at The ACT, it’s also the 40th anniversary of the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Arts Council.
The non-profit volunteer group is dedicated to bringing arts to the heart of the community and to help celebrate their success they will be hosting several events throughout October.
