Kyle Herman and the Halycon Imagineers host “Noble Hearts,” a fundraiser for Caring Place at Blenz in Maple Ridge on July 5.
Herman formed Halcyon Imagineers in August 2013 as a loose coalition of local area artists and friends who all share his altruistic artistic vision of peace and love.
“Noble Hearts is the Halcyon Woodstock and Superbowl rolled into one,” says Herman. “Besides supporting a worthwhile charity, we really want to put on a fun and excellent show to entertain the people in our community.”
Noble Hearts will feature up-and-coming Maple Ridge pop singer Ria Jade, alternative rock singer Dharma Jorgenson, folk rock performers Robot Mafia, Tasha Leginus and blues-grunge band Wave Distortion as the headliners.
“Bishops” will energize the crowd before the headliners and poets Mr. Gnosis, Gary Redmond, Dr. Brainstorm, Rory MacRury Darren Morrey and Arak Starreagle will also perform.
• The Noble Hearts fundraiser takes place at Blenz, 22441Dewdney Trunk Rd. on Saturday, July 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
