Fagin (Olivia Brehm) and Nancy (Paige Metcalf) offer musical advice as members of the cast of the Peace Arch Elementary version of 'Oliver' present a matinee performance Wednesday. The bilingual version of the stage classic – the first large-scale production at the school in 15 years – wove the French language into the text, and managed to find parts for all students from Grade 1 to 7, under the skillful stage and musical direction of veteran district drama specialist Al Pichler.
