Chase Padgett may be just one man.
But when he comes to the Surrey Arts Centre this week, it may seem like his show involves a cast of colourful characters.
There are, in fact multiple personalities in the performance, with six guitar players, theoretically, taking the stage. But they’re all portrayed by Padgett.
In 6 Guitars, each diverse character – from a 19-year-old rock prodigy to an 87-year-old blues man – has their own distinct voice, views, and musical style. Padget takes the audience on a hilarious and heartfelt journey through how they fell in love with music, why they think their style is special and what they think of all the other styles.
6 Guitars is at the arts centre (13750 88 Ave.) March 12-14 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25-$35, including all fees. Call 604-501-5566 or check https://tickets.surrey.ca
