Dress outrageous, have some fun and support local businesses.The Ladysmith Downtown Business Association’s Outrageous Fools Lip and Live fundraising event is taking the stage.“Come out and have a good time,” past-president John Surtees said.He said the night will be full of fun and hilarity.“We encourage people to dress up outrageously,” he said.There will be lip-synching, a silent auction and fun games all night.The proceeds go towards LDBA’s mandate of supporting local businesses and different community groups.He said many people like to show up based on a theme.Last year, there were groups dressed up like genies and another group of women dressed as “hot flashes.” “Nothing is not kosher, it’s all about the fun.”The event is Friday, April 1 at Aggie Hall.Doors open at 6 p.m. and entertainment starts at 7 p.m.Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at the 49th Parallel Printers and the Printingdun Beanery on First Avenue.
