Parksville Qualicum Beach dancers performing in show in Nanaimo

This year’s Odyssey performance includes eighteen Island schools, including Innovate Dance Arts and Qualicum Beach School of Dance

Some Parksville Qualicum Beach dancers will be taking part in the upcoming Dancestreams Dance Odyssey at Nanaimo’s Port Theatre (125 Front St.) on Saturday, Feb. 4.

This year’s Odyssey performance includes eighteen Island schools, including Innovate Dance Arts in Parksville and Qualicum Beach School of Dance.

Each year, the company brings together more than 200 top young dancers from studios in Victoria to the north Island, presenting a wide array of dance styles. From classical ballet to lyrical jazz, national, modern and contemporary, this show is a powerhouse of energy and enthusiasm.
