St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and Penticton is ready to paint the city green.
Here’s a round up of all the events you can eat, drink and be merry at for St. Patrick’s Day this year.
The Barking Parrot
The Barking Parrot, located inside the Penticton Lakeside Resort, is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all weekend on March 16 and 17 with various food and drink specials. Beginning at 8 p.m. both nights, admission on March 16 is $4 and free on March 17.
Barley Mill Brew Pub
Be.Social with the Barley Mill and the SOS Pride Foundation on March 17 from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Enjoy $4.95 green beer, $8.95 fish and chips, and more specials, as well as the Penticton Pipe Band’s performance at 6 p.m. Then DJ Skye will take over providing the entertainment for the rest of the evening.
The pub is also offering an optional roast beef dinner buffet and 50/50 draw to support the Penticton Harlequins Rugby Club. Advance tickets for the buffet are $20 each.
Copper Mug Pub
You’ll find the luck of the Irish at the Copper Mug Pub on St. Patrick’s Day weekend. The Yard Katz will be performing at the pub at 7 p.m. on March 16 and 3 p.m. on March 17, free of admission for attendees. Penticton Irish Dance will take the stage on March 17 at 4 p.m. and the Penticton Pipe Band to follow at 5 p.m.
Clancy’s Pub
Staff at Clancy’s Pub are promising “the best St. Patrick’s Day Party in Penticton” on March 17 that you won’t want to miss. Enjoy drink and food specials, including green beer, as well as two three-hour sets of live entertainment.
Mile Zero Wine Bar
The Mile Zero Wine Bar is promising an assortment of surprise cocktails for St. Patrick’s Day on March 17. From 3 to 11 p.m. customers can also enjoy a fresh draft of Guinness to get into the Irish spirit.
Tug’s Tap House
Take in live music and drink specials on March 17 at Tug’s Tap House. The weekly free poker league of Texas Hold ‘Em will continue as normal that evening with registration at 6 p.m. and game time at 6:30 p.m.
