Penticton Speedway kicks off 2021 season June 5

This will be the first season under the Speedway's new owners

The Penticton Speedway is racing back into action on June 5.

This season will be the first under the ownership of Avion Developments, which also owns the Area 27 motor-sports park in Osoyoos.

The first races of the season will see races for hornet-class cars, street stocks, hit-to-pass and late models.

The annual Gordie Mannes Memorial Invitational runs for four days from July 29 to Aug. 1.

Returning to the track on July 24 and Aug. 21 will be the Avion RS1 Series and Sprint races.

Also scheduled to return this year is the monster truck weekend on Aug. 28 and 29.
