Missing local live music? Venables Theatre in Oliver is too. That’s why they are sharing a live concert by Penticton’s own Aidan & Mandy this Saturday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m.

“Our Venables Alive! series will return as soon as the Provincial Health Orders allow us to do so. In the meantime, we are bringing the series to you,” said a press release from Venables Theatre.

“Enjoy this live stream from the comfort of your own home, perhaps with a glass of wine, in your jammies with the beautiful duo voices of Aidan & Mandy on Saturday.”

The concert will be live-streamed from the Venables Theatre Stage.

“Wherever the wine flows, the lake sings, and the stars shine, the sounds of Aidan and Mandy won’t be far away,” describes the singing duo.

From their humble beginnings busking at the Penticton market, the two quickly realized they had something special, discovering an almost instantaneous popularity for their music within the community.

It wasn’t long before their voices were dazzling sold-out audiences at the renowned Dream Café in Penticton but also landing on festival bills alongside 54-40, City and Colour, Mother Mother, The Current Swell and Yukon Blonde.
