The Chilliwack Visual Artists Association has given new life to items that most would toss in the trash

People came out to see an eclectic display of repurposed items turned to art during the opening reception for Upscale Art in the O’Connor Group Art Gallery at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre on Saturday.

The Chilliwack Visual Artists Association’s newest group show features work made from found, collected and recycled items.

Upscale Art is at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre now until Dec. 28. Admission is free. Gallery hours are Wednesday to Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
