The Western Association of Floral Art Clubs presented its annual, provincially judged Floral Art Show at the Cloverdale Catholic Parish this afternoon (April 29), from 2 to 4 p.m.

Floral artisans from across B.C. entered their floral designs, transforming fresh flowers into works of art.
The award for best in show went to Darlene Ellwood for her entry in the “Armature to Wow” category, which requires the artist to engage their creativity and produce a design that says “wow.”
Other categories included A Canadian Celebration, in honour of Canada’s 150 anniversary, Start the Party, Manipulated, Spring Surprise, The Prom, It’s a Wrap and Savour the Succulents.
