The Poetry Institute of Canada is inviting authors to enter its annual poetry and creative writing contests.
The poetry contest is open to all ages and any style of writing. There is no entry fee and the poem – only one may be entered – must be 24 lines or less. The deadline to enter in July 31.
The creative writing contest is open to authors 18 years and older. People may submit either fiction or non-fiction short stories, essays or anecdotes.
Submissions must not be more than 850 words. There is no entry fee to enter and the deadline is July 31.
