Summer is here and along with it comes Predator Ridge’s Music on the Patio series.
The opening event, Tuesday, June 30 from 5 to 7 p.m., features performing and recording artist Marv Machura.
“This year’s lineup of performers were drawn from a group of favourite past performers, so we are looking forward to a fun season of music ahead,” said Torrie Silverthorn, marketing specialist at Predator Ridge.
Machura is a singer-songwriter in the rock-country-folk-roots tradition of singer-songwriters such as Ian Tyson, Neil Young, John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Petty, John Cougar, and Bruce Springsteen.
In addition to publishing more than 20 songs in Nashville, Machura has released four CDs and has been played from coast-to-coast in Canada in addition to the U.K., Europe, New Zealand, U.S., and Australia. He is known as an engaging live act who loves to share the joy of music with all audiences.
“I love keeping this music alive and am glad to have found a receptive audience for it here in the Okanagan Valley,” he said.
Music on the Patio performances are held every Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. on the lower patio at the clubhouse at Predator Ridge Golf Resort. Concerts will move indoors in case of rain. For more information and a schedule of performers visit predatorridge.com.
