Four outstanding vocalists from Quebec will present the second concert in Lakes District Arts Council’s eleventh season next week.
The concert will take place on Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Lakes District Secondary School’s multipurpose room.
Quartom Vocal Quartet from Quebec will put on display their smooth classical and barbershop vocal prowess. The talented, charismatic young singers who make up this group will perform a variety of pop and classical tunes, with something for all musical tastes.
In addition to tunes from the world of opera, their set will include gospel music, a couple of Simon and Garfunkel songs, Gene Chandler’s 50’s pop classic The Duke of Earl, and a selection of Beatles songs.
Quartom includes a tenor, two baritones and a bass baritone, and offers singing of the highest quality that appeals to a wide audience. If you like the Three Tenors or the Canadian Tenors, you will like Quartom.
Prepare to be charmed by this talented quartet, on a rare B.C. tour.
Look for LDAC’s posters around town, and ads in the Lakes District News. Tickets for Quartom are available at Process 4 circle arts Gallery, at LDFC Printing and Stationery and The Lakes Artisan Centre.
