Raising kids is no easy task so the Ready-Set-Go Children’s Health Fair on Feb. 25 will provide parents with all the helpful information they need to raise health children.
Local community organizatons will present the Ready-Set-Go Children’s Health Fair in Campbell River at Robron Centre on Friday Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Community organizations will be available to provide parents of tots and preschoolers with information on safety, health, literacy awareness, recreation and other community programs. Free Screening for children will be available for vision, development, dental and speech.
Other activities include:
n mini workshops/demonstrations on speech and language
n infant-focused demonstrations
n nutrition worshops
n leap and hop play activities for children with household items
n drumming
n Miss Judy Show
n mystical face painting
n puppet shows
n child find
There will be free transit services (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) for parents, grandparents and caregivers accompanied by children under the age of 10.
There will also be free snacks, beverages and lots of prizes.
