The March-April 2017 exhibition at Smithers Art Gallery is The Members’ Show, a mixed-media community exhibition.
This beautiful exhibition showcases the artwork of over 40 local artists. We encourage everyone to come and see what their talented community has created – the quality and diversity of the artworks are really impressive, with a wide range of media including copper sculptures, ceramics, sculpted leather, needle-feltings, pastels, watercolours, acrylics, and oil paintings.
The Gallery puts on a Members’ Show biennially in order to create an opportunity for everyone to share their talents with the community. As a non-juried show, it is open to anyone to participate.
The opening reception is on Friday, March 10, 7-9 p.m. Everyone is welcome, it’s free and we provide light refreshments! Many of the artists will be in attendance.
