Registration is now open for innovative and exhilarating summer art classes for kids at The Reach (32388 Veterans Way).
“Our art lab is all about getting to know art-making in a new way,” said The Reach cultural programs assistant Julie Epp, who will lead the classes.
Children aged five to 12 years will develop skills in mediums such as painting and drawing, printmaking, sculpture, paper cutting and street art. They will have fun and will walk away with a more comprehensive understanding of the process of art creation.
Class sizes are limited, which will allow children to receive better instruction and create more detailed projects. Each lab class will stimulate their imagination with a different artistic style or technique, and with room for children to develop the styles into their own individual works of art.
