Revelstoke Community Choir gets ready upcoming Christmas concert

The concert is called Candy Canes and Carols and scheduled for Dec. 9/10

It’s that time of year again.

The Revelstoke Community Choir is presenting Candy Canes and Carols at the United Church Dec. 9/10.

The choir has roughly 60 people all between the ages of 20 and 80. The show will be two hours with an intermission.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids (age 5 and under) and can be purchased at the Community Centre.

“Magic happens when you get 60 people together,” says Lida Carey, director of the choir.

“Choir is weekly therapy for us and the concert is for the community.”

Here is a video of the choir practicing earlier this week.
