Carol Schulz displays her water colour paintings at the Rollin Art Centre until Oct. 7 as part of the centre’s current exhibit.

The current art exhibit features artist, Carol Schulz, and her colourful water colour paintings. This exhibit, titled Impressions of the Seasons, runs until Oct. 7.

Schulz’s paintings capture the vibrant colours of autumn while whispering the soft colours of spring.

Every wall is covered by beautiful landscapes, celebrating all seasons.  Join us in the gallery Saturday, Oct. 1 from 1-3 p.m. for an opportunity to meet Schulz.

Colouring book

This is an opportunity to show how much you love the Alberni Valley, and there is no age limit or submission limits.

If you like to draw or doodle and you love this amazing Valley we call home, then this project is for you.

The Community Art Centre is working on a new project, an adult colouring book, to be ready for the holidays. We are currently looking for anyone who would like to submit a line drawing, 8” X 10”, of local landmarks or something that reminds you of our wonderful Alberni Valley.

Anyone can submit a drawing, from children to seniors.

These line drawings, black and white only, will be juried and published in a colouring book as a fundraiser for the Rollin Art Centre.

For more information and an application, stop by the Rollin Art Centre. Submissions will be accepted until Sept. 30.
