Safire Dance is returning to Cleland Theatre on Oct. 28.

Presented by the Children’s Showcase, this event features Sandra Sommerville, a world-renowned circus and hoop performer.

“Safire is a charismatic and engaging performer with a fantastic sense of humour and absolutely mesmerizing hula hoop skills,” says Children’s Showcase organizer Melanie Walden. “When we saw her at a presenters’ showcase conference last spring, she was the first performer we wanted to book! She will be a joy for all ages!”

Take in Sommerville’s multi-hooping, contemporary hoop dance, flag spinning, contact juggling and stilt walking.

Tickets are $12 and are available at the Tumbleweed Gallery, Penticton Arts Council office, Penticton Art Gallery, Prague Café, Oliver Veterinary Hospital, The Beanery, and online. Season tickets are also available for the 2018/19 season of the Children’s Showcase for $30.
