‘Tis the season for rhodos and song.
On Sunday, June 11, Robert Argall will be opening his lovely home and garden for a Comox Valley Youth Music Centre (CYMC) benefit concert. It starts as 2 p.m. with a tour of the garden, appies and wine.
Then at 3 p.m., Helena Jung (cello), Carol Anne Parkinson (voice) and Sean Mooney (piano) will revisit the heart-warming concert performed at the Sid Williams Theatre in February. The repertoire will include a few new works as well.
CYMC would like to thank Liz Datoo, who was inspired to put this afternoon together in honour of its 50th anniversary, and Argall for graciously opening his home. Thanks also to Liz for providing the appies, and to Brian Balfe and Don Somers for donating the wine.
Don’t miss Helena, Carol Anne and Sean, three artists blending in one exquisite voice. Tickets ($50) are available by phoning Liz (250-338-6284), the CYMC office (250-338-7463) or at cymc.ca/events.
There are only 75 seats for this intimate house concert at 387 Wireless Rd. in Comox, so reserve yours today.
