See Chilliwack live in Harrison

"Chilliwack and Bill Henderson are synonymous with the early days of West Coast rock and roll," says organizer Ed Stenson.

It’s a rare chance to see rock legends Chilliwack in a small venue.

The May 5 show at Memorial Hall is part of a special fundraiser to offer much-needed support for the Harrison Festival Society.

“Chilliwack and Bill Henderson are synonymous with the early days of West Coast rock and roll,” says organizer Ed Stenson.

Emerging from the ashes of psychedelia in 1969, the band Chilliwack released 12 albums over a 15-year period putting out Canadian and international hits like Fly At Night, Arms Of Mary, California Girl and My Girl (gone gone gone).

Now in their fortieth year of music-making, and with the live CD There and Back still winning over fans, the band is still rocking like never before.

The event features live performance, silent auction, raffle and door prizes, with appies and refreshments.

Chilliwack, May 5, Harrison Memorial Hall, 7:30 p.m., Tickets $75 (+ hst), with a $30 tax receipt issued. Tickets are available by calling 604 796-3664 or online at www.harrisonfestival.com.
