April 24 – Young filmmaker Jiayi Zhong will project short film, Peach Blossom Spring, on the rounded exterior wall of new UFV building (former Bank of Montreal) at Five Corners while ballet dancers from Creative Outlet studio will perform an Ode to Spring, modelling the Spring Collection from Lolly’s Boutique. It’s a combination of art, film, dance and fashion in downtown Chilliwack starting at 7:30 p.m.
April 24 – Ari Neufeld performs at the Acoustic Emporium (The Vineyard Centre, 45892 Wellington Ave.) at 7 p.m. Tickets $10 at the door.

April 25 – The fifth annual Rock Out Cancer Benefit Dance Party takes place at Tzeachten Hall tonight. Proceeds will go to the BC Cancer Foundation via the Ride to Conquer Cancer. Tickets $30 and available at www.rockoutcancer.ca.

Now to May 9 – Group photo exhibition, Light and Shadow, is on display in the Art Gallery at the Cultural Centre April 2 to May 9. Gallery hours: Wednesdays to Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m., plus some evenings during theatre performances. Free admission.
Now to December – The SĂ:tel Coast Salish Baskets exhibition is on display in the Chambers Gallery at the Chilliwack Museum until December. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Admission $3/general and $2/seniors and students.
