For the seventh year in a row, lovers of art, crafts and the curious will gather in downtown Courtenay for the annual Elevate Winter Bazaar.
Dec. 7 and 8, 35 carefully selected creators of beautiful, breathtaking and bizarre art and craft will descend on the Courtenay Legion. This highly anticipated craft fair offers attendees the opportunity to discover enticing, intriguing and unusual works from inspired local artisans.
The bazaar opens Friday at 4:30 p.m. with live music and DJ sets, a licensed bar, tasty bites, a card-making corner and a unique night-time craft fair shopping opportunity! The Elevate Bazaar runs Friday, Dec. 8 until 9 p.m.
On Dec. 8, the bazaar runs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and features tasty snacks and hot beverages infused with delicious local flavours, hands-on art and craft activities, live music performances, and incredible offerings from the talented hands and minds of our community. From blown glass, woodwork, pottery, art prints, jewelry, bugs, elixirs, and screen prints to buttons, cards, and clothing – there is something for absolutely everyone on your shopping list at the bazaar.

Stay for awhile and make some art yourself in our hands-on art corner, meet up with friends with friends and neighbours and enjoy the diverse creative talent that calls the Comox Valley home. Make a day of it, visit the Comox Valley Farmers Market in the morning at the Native Sons Hall and check out the eclectic merchants of downtown Courtenay.
Admission to the bazaar is by donation. One hundred per cent of donations support barrier-free, street level, pop up events created throughout the year and across the Comox Valley by the Elevate Consortium.
