Showcase promotes local music and Chlliwack artists

Fraser Valley Creators Association is ready for its Second Annual Fundraiser & Music Showcase on Nov. 2 at Mt. Cheam Lions Hall.

It’s a local group that strives to create innovative theatre productions and other art forms for Fraser Valley culturevultures.

The Fraser Valley Creators Association is ready for its Second Annual Fundraiser & Music Showcase, on Nov. 2 at the Mt. Cheam Lions Hall in Chilliwack.

Three bands from around the Fraser Valley will be in the musical spotlight that night: Tarl, Harma White, and Kyle Schick.

“Our annual showcase raises money for us to promote and produce local independent art, music, and theatre throughout the year,” says association spokesman Steve Martens.

The group of artists are known for their original stage show and soundtrack they wrote and produced called Misty Hill Automaton!

Tickets to the fundraising showcase are $10 each and they won’t be available at the door. Annual Fundraiser & Music Showcase, on Nov. 2 from 7 p.m – 1 am at the Mount Cheam Lions Hall (45580 Spadina Avenue, Chilliwack, B.C.) here will be 50/50, raffles, snacks and a cash bar.
