Showroom showcases trio of young bands (Video)

Raised Fourth, Eric’s Basement, and Sunshine and Shadows take the Duncan Showroom stage.

Ask any aspiring young band what they need most and it’s likely they’ll reply: exposure, recognition, to get themselves and their sound out there somehow.

And many of Vancouver Island’s young performers will also tell you that they are really grateful for the tireless efforts of Longevity John Falkner and his Duncan Showroom to do just that.

Sponsoring live showcases at the 39 Days of July and at the Showroom, and even livestreaming of concerts at the club on Station Street in Duncan, Falkner and Co. are always trying to find ways to boost young talent.

One of these events was held on Easter Saturday, April 15, featuring two very promising Cowichan Valley bands: Raised Fourth and Eric’s Basement, plus Sunshine and Shadows from Nanaimo in an entertaining night of music.
