Abbotsford is among the stops for the So You Think You Can Dance tour across North America, it was announced on Tuesday.
The show takes place Saturday, Jan. 9 at Abbotsford Centre. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 28, starting at 10 a.m.
So You Think You Can Dance is a 13-time Emmy-Award winning TV show in which dancers compete in a a variety of styles each week, with the top performers moving forward.
The eventual champion receives a cash prize, and the top 10 finalists tour for several months, performing hit routines from the show.
The tour coming to Abbotsford features dancers from season 12, performing in 70 cities. It kicks off Oct. 13 in Texas and crosses the U.S., wrapping up Dec. 29 in Idaho.
The second leg of the tour takes place in Canada in 2016.
Dancers on the tour are: Gaby Diaz, Edson Juarez, Jim Nowakowski, Hailee Payne, Derek Piquette, Megan Alfonso, Eddie Eskridge, Virgil Gadson, Jessica Rabone and Jana Vankova
